Under Richard’s leadership and commitment to the Fresh Food Pledge, Unidine was one of 100 people, products, and companies to make the Rodale 100 List for “Positively Impacting the World.” The Rodale Company is a health and wellness company that helped give rise to the organic food movement. The Rodale 100 List is designed to “spotlight the next generation of visionaries whose work aligns with the Rodale mission….the business of helping people discover happier, healthier ways to live their lives.”
2015
Unidine is named to Food Management’s Top 50 Contract Management Companies for 2015, and again in 2016, 2017, and 2018. This list by Food Management recognizes the top 50 companies in dining, catering and other food-related services. Each company is ranked by top-line North American revenues.
2013
Unidine was honored at the 2013 Long Term Care & Senior Living LINK Conference as a Spirit of Innovation Award winner. In partnership with a client, Trinity Health Senior Living Communities, Unidine launched a program called “Puree with Purpose.” Puree with a Purpose falls in line with Unidine’s Fresh Food Pledge of serving healthy, fresh food with the highest nutritional impact, and further innovates by molding the freshly pureed foods back into their original shapes. Patients with dysphagia can enjoy receiving meals that look just like everyone else’s through the Puree with a Purpose program.

Unidine is named to Inc.’s 500/5000 list as one of America’s fastest-growing, privately-held companies, and continued to make this list in 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015. This prestigious list of the nation’s most successful private companies represents one of the highest honors in business – past honorees become household names, such as Facebook, Chobani and Microsoft.
2006
The Boston Business Journal announced Unidine as one of the region’s fastest-growing privately held companies. To be recognized as a Pacesetter, a company must demonstrate annual revenue growth of at least 20% over a 4-year period. Despite a tough economy, Unidine’s commitment to service excellence, strong culture and best-in-industry approach led it to grow rapidly under Richard’s leadership. Unidine went on to be recognized six more times for setting the pace in the food service industry.
